1st year :-

We were successful in launching the club as well as conducting catechize 2010 with all its 160+ teams from all over INDIA. The next event was our college internal paper presentation on social issues by the name “SOCIAL DEMURS” On “12^TH OCT 2010”.

Apart from all these social service always had its room in the yearly calendar of ACUBE.

So, as a stepping stone, we were successful in standing as financial and moral support for “ABHAYA KSHETRAM”, the home for the physically challenged children at Renigunta, Tirupathi. In our visits to the ABHAYA KSHETRAM, we donated some essential needs To them & gave them a chance to reveal their agonies in the form of a heart touching performance in front of huge gathering at the 10^th ANNUAL DAY celebrations of AUDISANKARA GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS on 4^th April 2011

On the same day, ACUBE’s food stall was placed by our students and profit out of it was donated to ABHAYAKSHETHRAM.

 

 

2^nd year :-

 

The 1 year baby ACUBE, brought up by the 1^st core committee was handed over to the next generation.8 members of the final year were selected as the core next committee of ACUBE.

The new core with its new convener Dr.N.Kishandar, Placement officer of AUDISANKARA GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS, made a yearly calendar & then the job of recruiting new generation into ACUBE was the real challenge. No sooner did we place an invitation of new applications on our notice board, than we received enormous number of applications from students of AUDISANKARA GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS to join in ACUBE. So, to search out for real talent and enthusiasm towards our club as well as social service, we conducted screening tests and interviews for about 400 applicants and joined ……. students into the club.

On august 28^th 2011, 1^st annual celebrations of ACUBE took place and the principal approved the yearly calendar for the academic year 2011-2012 and September 24^th was declared the date of CATECHIZE 2K11.

As expected, Catechize 2k11 was again a huge success and the magnanimous core committee made it a point to expand the social service under the club & thought of selecting a downtrodden village for adoption.

“A helping hand is great than the praying heart”. Making it true, we travelled towards helping the needy directly. A slum in cherlopalli village located near our college was selected to be the place.

In our several visits to the same, we investigated the exact problems and needs over there & worked towards the solution.

On the eve of Republic day, January 26^th 2012, we could successfully reach them with a hand full of donations which include Groceries, plantations, stationery, rice, clothes, eatables for the …. Families over there in the slum.

More than the monetary support, we were happy for the moral support that we could give them & the same reached the notice of honorable collector of S.P.S.R Nellore district who appreciated the club for its social concern on AUGUST 15^th 2012.

Some more activities in the same year include organizing the national festivals like Independence Day, republic day, protesting a rally in Nellore for INDIA AGAINST CORRUPTION, radio mirchi and student food stall on the eve of 11^th annual day celebrations, organizing campus recruitment drives etc.

 

 

3^rd year :-

It was again a tedious job to place the new core committee & after considering several talented active members, FOUR Fabulous members  were  placed as the new core committee

As a habit, Catechize 2k12 was again a huge success and coming to the social service updates of this the new season, just like the father’s hand to the 2year old crawling baby , we are now given a supporting hand by the JNTUA & our college administration. We are recognized as the 1^st ever & best student organization in its region. The university offered some NSS camps to be done by A3. Prior to that we, initiated weekly NSS camps with the support of our college administration.
