CATECHIZE

 Catechize is word derived from Latin word CATECHIZARE, which means to teach or examine by means of questions and answers”. So we thought it would be apt as the title for our quiz competition, which is a prestigious mega event that is being organized by A3every year.

                                                                                   The quiz comprises of general studies, latest advancements, sports, current affairs, technical issues, reasoning etc. The entire quiz goes in a different pattern and more than a quiz it resembles like a game show. So, it attracted all the students from different colleges. Prize money worth Rs.20000 is being awarded for the winners every year.

                                                                                   The entire quiz is organized by the students of Acube right from preparing the questions, evaluation, conducting the quiz etc. We feel proud to say that our Catechize has been the inspiration for many student organized events that started in some colleges in recent times.

 So far, we have conducted three ‘Catechize’s.

 

Catechize 2K10:

                                                                                     

                                                                                      1st  Catechize was organized on 28th august, 2010, which was also the birth of ACUBE. It was inaugurated by our chairman Sri Vanki Penchalaiah, Late Sri Rangaswamy, the then branch manager of Gudur SBI and Dr.AVS Prasad, the director of Audisankara group of institutions. The inaugural function was presided by all the HOD’s of different departments of Audisankara group of institutions.

  With all their blessings ACUBE officially inaugurated. The event started with more than 100 teams.

                                                                                   G.Mohan Gandhi, one of the core members played the role of quiz master. He played a prominent role in the success of event ,We got tremendous response and great applause through his role as quiz master.

                                                                                   The entire ACUBE team were dressed up in a special costumes for the event and the total team gave their part to make the event successful. Some participants were also given those tshirts as token of appreciation for some worthy questions.

Catechize 2K11:

                                                                               

                                                                                   It was a real challenge to take up the 2nd Catechize due to the heavy expectations set up by the 1st Catechize.It was organized on 24th September 2011 and inaugurated by our chairman Sri Vanki Penchalaiah and Director Sri AVS Prasad.Our convener Dr.N.Kishandar and all HOD’s of Audisankara group of institutions presided the meeting.

                                                                              The event started with all the 168 teams from various states went like a rollercoaster like and the 11 teams who were screened for main quiz were on their toes to answer the questions. It was like a neck to neck tie for the top 3 teams till the last minute. The spot events and special events like “EK BHOOM KA DHAMAAL” gained the attention for all the participants. Some new conceptual rounds in the quiz like “BID UR CELEBRITY”,”RAPID FIRE” gained a tremendous response.  The participants ruled out in screening, mentioned that they were very much entertained by such spot events and at the end of the day the valedictory function took place and 

                                                                                Apart  from them, many others bagged prizes in several spot events.   

  The core members A.Srinivasa Karthik and Y.Saithejareddy designed the quiz and Karthik, who was the quiz master gained a great applause from the masses for his attitude exhibited throughout the day and for the interesting quiz pattern. Responding in the valedictory function, many participants expressed their great joy and hilarious response for the whole ACUBE committee.

Catechize 2K12:

                                                                        

 After the two successful catechizes...it was a challenging task to design a quiz pattern in order to show a freshness and excitement to the participants. 

was organized on 25th August 2012 and inaugurated by Sri Rajendra Prasad Garu Senior Scientist ISRO, Our chairman Sri Vanki Penchalaiah and Director Sri AVS Prasad.Our convener Dr.N.Kishandar and all HOD’s of Audisankara group of institutions presided the meeting.


                                                                                     The event started with more than 150 teams, as a practice we conducted a screenings test for all registered participants out of whom some exceptionally talented team were selected so that the main quiz would be a real tug of war. In the process 10 teams were forwarded to the main quiz

 

                                                                                    Total rounds were made to have a fresh look...and some exciting rounds like WIPE OUT ROUND and CONNECTION ROUND had really grabbed the attention of the audience ...Participants literally applauded for every question posed in the WIPEOUT ROUND and for CONNECTION ROUND and they couldn’t say still without appreciating the quiz designers for their intelligence 

                                                                                    Spot events also had cracked the participants’ minds while performing interesting tasks in a short time. all the participants were very much elated with joy despite the inconvenience caused by the rain

By this we had once again proved that 100% masti guarantee on CATECHIZE

      And the success of catechize 2012 was enjoyed by whole Acube team
